Cristina
Economist
Cristina has been working at the shelter since January 2023, having joined the staff after a month of volunteering. She has two cats (Tuti and Pufuzen) and adopted a dog named Bambi from the shelter; she later took in Bambi’s mother, Lynn, to help her recover. She also previously fostered Kalea. Cristina is a strong advocate for long-term residents: the shy dogs who have made significant progress and deserve a second chance at a beautiful life with a family.
