Veera

Veera has been working at the shelter since July 2020 and has two adopted dogs, Chip and Grigore. Champ holds a special place in her heart, as she had the opportunity to watch him transform from a fearful, unsociable dog into a friendly companion. She was also deeply affected by Gino’s story, following the weeks of patient effort required to bring him to safety. She remains convinced that prevention and responsible population management are the keys to reducing the number of dogs in shelters.
